Spring is definitely here and with the clocks going forward at the end of last month, we’re getting ever closer to Easter and eventually the summer.
Easter is a great opportunity to get out and about and have some family fun, so what’s going on in and around Knutsford this year and how can you get involved?
On Saturday 31 March, Knutsford town centre will be hosting its annual Bunny Hop. This is a little earlier than the main Easter weekend, so it gives you a great way to spread your Easter celebrations out a little more.
The Knutsford Times explained that the event is a bunny hunt, with eight bunnies hidden around Knutsford for families to find. You need to come with one of the special event postcards to write the bunny’s name on and post it in the Heritage Centre’s post box for the chance to be entered into a prize draw.
Regardless though, participating businesses will be handing out Easter treats to those who come looking for bunnies in their stores. There will also be face painting and other activities going on throughout the day.
Tatton Park, meanwhile, has a host of Easter-themed events and activities going on over the Bank Holiday weekend from 19-22 April. The Egg-Chanted Easter at the mansion will feature treasure trails, as well as entertainment ranging from puppet shows to a magic performance.
No Easter weekend would be complete without enjoying a delicious Sunday lunch in Knutsford, so make sure you book a table for the whole family to fuel up after your morning of Easter egg hunting.
