May we take this opportunity to congratulate you both on your engagement.  We are delighted that you are considering Mere Court Hotel as a venue for your celebrations.  Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and it is our aim to ensure that it becomes your most treasured memory.

Originally an Edwardian country house, Mere Court Hotel is a beautiful 4 star hotel set in seven acres of gardens with an ornamental lake.  It offers an ideal and elegant setting for your wedding.

The attached brochures are a taste of Mere Court Hotel, but cannot truly convey the beauty of the venue or the dedication of our team to making your wedding day dreams come true.  We feel a show around is essential.

Your Special Day
From your initial enquiry at Mere Court Hotel, our team aim to ensure your time with us is treasured.  We appreciate how important your wedding day is to you both and we guarantee yours will be the only wedding reception on the day.  Our dedicated wedding co-ordinator will work with you to make your day special to you and your guests.

Our team has a wealth of experience and we hope to guide you through planning your dream wedding day.  Whether you have 2 or 200 guests, we will work with you to tailor your wedding to your requirements.  Our team do their utmost to ensure you are able to relax in the knowledge you are in professional hands.

Civil Ceremonies
We offer a choice of five rooms in which the Wedding Ceremony could take place. The most popular being the Arboreum Restaurant overlooking the lake.

A room hire charge applies for the use of each room.  It is your responsibility to liaise with the Registrar at Macclesfield Borough Council, Telephone Number: 01270-375268
Capacity
10 to 150 guests can be accommodated for the Wedding Breakfast and up to 200 Guests for an Evening Reception. Friday, Saturday & Sunday Weddings must have minimum numbers of 70 Adults for the Wedding Breakfast and 100 Adults for the Evening Reception.

Between Monday and Thursday we are happy to accommodate for the more intimate wedding with smaller numbers.

Accommodation
The hotel has 34 bedrooms many with Jacuzzi Spa Baths and King Size Beds, including two 4 Posters and various suites situated both within the main house and the lakeside. We offer reduced accommodation rates for any guests in your wedding party wishing to stay the night of the Wedding.

The Bride & Groom are offered a complimentary standard room in the lakeside or can upgrade to a Four Poster Suite in the main house with Champagne and chocolates for an additional charge. Should all 34 bedrooms be taken, a further two rooms will be offered complimentary. Check in time is 2.00pm. Check out the following day is 11.00am

Exclusive Use
An exclusive package is available, which includes all public areas, including the Arboreum Restaurant. Prices for exclusive use range from £3000 upwards.

The exclusive use fee includes a complimentary upgrade to the honeymoon suite for the bride and groom. It does not include any other accommodation or food or drink.

Booking
We hold a provisional date for 14 days only, after which a deposit of £1000.00 to confirm the booking is required. The deposits are neither non-refundable nor transferable.

No corkage is available at the hotel.
A bar extension cost may apply.
All Weddings are subject to a 5% service charge.
